OUR HOME

Phippen House is located in a quiet subdivision of modern, high ranch style homes in Trenton, Ontario. We are within close proximity to local parks, recreation centres and community services. Our neighbourhood is also close to Highway 401, allowing for ease of travel.

The home itself consists of a large, open-concept living area and kitchen, a three piece bathroom, and three bedrooms on its main level. On the lower level of our home is our state of the art Snoezelen Room and a 456 square foot area used for therapeutic and recreational play for our children and youth to engage in.

Youth that reside in our home are encouraged to create their own space and strive for independence in daily tasks (hygiene, meal planning and preparation), depending on their own specific developmental needs and abilites.

Each room is customised to meet each child's unique medical needs and personal interests.

Our home is equipped with a wheelchair ramp, enabling access from the yard to the main living area. Our backyard is completely fenced in and gives our children a large area to play outdoors in all seasons.
