Phippen House is a home that sees each child and youth as a valued member of society who is able to enrich the community. The staff will support the emotional, physical, mental and social development of each child in order for them to reach their full potential. We will encourage their independence and achievement.
At Phippen House, each child/youth has a custom decorated room that fits their individual likes, hobbies and needs. While they are living at Phippen House, it is their home.
Phippen House is fully wheelchair accessible. The back yard is fully covered in interlocking brick to provide access to the sensory garden, play area and wheelchair ramp.
Our caring and certified staff is available 24 hours a day to provide hands-on care. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child/youth while offering a natural, family environment. Our staff are trained Child and Youth Workers, Developmental Service Workers, Behavioral Science Technologists, Social Service Workers and share a wide range of personal and professional experience.
All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR Level C and Crisis Prevention through CPI.
