About

Phippen House is a therapeutic residential treatment home that has served in Trenton, Ontario since 2003. We strive to make Phippen House a home environment that is warm and welcoming to everyone.  This ensures that all our children and youth know that they belong, and that this is their home. Our staff are a hard working and compassionate team that aims to do the best for each youth in our care.

We provide a therapeutic environment that is tailored to the needs of our youth. Calming spaces, sensory integration, and personalized bedrooms are a priority in our homes. Our goal is always to make the environment feel like a home, not a facility, to ensure that our youth feel calm, comfortable, and safe.

We serve children and youth that have Complex Special Needs, which includes those with diagnoses of Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, chromosome or genetic conditions, language difficulties, and seizure disorders. The emphasis of our programming is sensory integration, daily living routines and skills development. At Phippen House, we believe that every child can reach their full potential with the right supports in place. We provide daily support and programming to assist these individuals to reach their potential and a level of independence.
